Each time I use a training day on the board, I will select one power to explain how to use. Please let me add, ask any questions for explaining at any time. Myself and or Nathaniel will get back with an answer on the board as soon as possible. So to begin, I have selected an interesting power from the Extradimensional power list.
Level Five - Zombies Curse -
The subject can cause one subject to perceive time as having sped up. The victim moves at half speed, and everything she says comes out slowly and in a deep pitch. The victim will have trouble communicating and even more trouble in combat. While bullets, once fired, move at normal speed, punches, kicks, sword, swings and other attacks that require personal speed in order to add kinetic force do only half their normal damage dice pool and have their difficulty to hit increased. (3)
Ok so we see the a power here that effectively slows down your victims use of physical (and magical - ill explain in a second) powers. By a perception of the end user that time has double in speed (it has not), His or hers own actions slow by 1/2. So their punches, kicks, etc are so slowed, they likely will not deal any damage at all. They are not able to have their full force about it. Because their ability to think, move, and react has been cut in half, their powers take twice as long to kick into effect. Because alot of magic users require speech, and or thought, vision, etc, in order to use their magics, it would take twice as long to generate. Please note, that doesnt mean it takes an extra round to take effect, but it will take longer. For example if a power usually takes 15 seconds to trigger, it will now that 30.
See how effective this could be? Its up to their victim to find away out of it. This power carries over one extra round, so you could use this up to two full rounds.
Keep in mind, as the power suggests, some things continue on at normal speed. For example, once their power is triggered, it will work at normal speed, it just takes twice as long to trigger. A bullet from a gunshot, will move at normal speed, it may just take twice as long to trigger it.
Any questions, feel free to reply.
